Incoming college freshman in 2015 have likely never licked a stamp.
Students born in 1997 have also always had Google around for their search needs and they've always had South Park on Television, according to the Beloit College Mindset list.
The list is an annual publication that determines which inventions, pop culture items and other modern amenities have become ubiquitous for America's youth.
Beloit's annual list leads to good fun, but it's also an effective tool for teachers who should heed the information about new students.
"The message for faculty is: Don't assume that your old references will always continue to make sense," Tom McBride, one of the list's creators, said in an email to NBC News.
