Israel Agrees to 5-Hour Cease-Fire After Boys Killed in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces said Wednesday that it has agreed to a five-hour "humanitarian" pause in its strikes on the Gaza Strip, NBC News reported. The cease-fire will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. local time on Thursday and will allow the Gaza Strip to "resupply for their humanitarian needs." The news comes the same day that four Palestinian boys from one family were killed by an Israeli airstrike as they played football with journalists on a beach in Gaza. As of Wednesday, 223 Palestinians and one Israeli have been killed since fighting began earlier this month.
