Ri-Ri and Ci-Ci went tit-for-tat on Twitter Saturday, outdoing each other with snide comments and a lot of attitude.
The pop goddesses—both ex-girlfriends of rapper Chris Brown—showed their “mean girl” sides, after Ciara talked smack on Rihanna on E!’s Fashion Police.
"I ran into her recently at a party. She wasn't the nicest," Ciara, 25, said on TV. "It's crazy, because I've always loved and respected what she's done in fashion. It wasn't the most pleasant run-in."
A true twenty-first century diva, Rihanna, 22, tweeted her response.
“My bad Ci, did I forget to tip you? How rude of me....You gangsta huh? Ha,” the “S&M” singer wrote.
Ciara shot back: “Trust me Rihanna you don't want to see me on or off the stage.”
To which Rihanna, the more popular of the two stars both on and off Twitter, sniped: “Good luck with bookin that stage you speak of."

And so it went. Eventually Rihanna took the high road with what amounted to a virtual hug.
“Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup,” she wrote.
Ciara accepted via tweet, though some people on Twitter speculated that Rihanna’s apology was meant to be sarcastic.
