Charlie Sheen's got a new enemy...onscreen, at least!
Hot on the heels of Selma Blair's abrupt exit, Brian Austin Green is set to join Sheen's FX sitcom Anger Management as a series regular, Lionsgate confirms to E! News.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star will be playing Sean, Charlie's nemesis who also happens to be the boyfriend of his ex-wife Jen (Shawnee Smith). Green made his first appearance on the series last season.

Most recently, Green starred in TBS' short-lived Wedding Band, on which his wife, Megan Fox, made a guest appearance. He also made a memorable cameo as Penny's (Casey Wilson) love interest on the recently canceled ABC sitcom Happy Endings.
At least Green doesn't have to worry (much) about Anger Management getting canceled, considering FX gave the series a 90-episode order after its first season.

Green's character isn't the only newbie viewers will be meeting: The FX series is currently casting a "sexy" new female lead to replace Blair, but the newbie will not be playing a therapist like her character Kate, who was Sheen's character's therapist on the show.
Sheen once again found himself making headlines after Blair exited Anger Management at his demand: Blair reportedly complained about Sheen's work ethic and tardiness to the show's producers, prompting the former Two and a Half Men star to fire her via text message.
Deadline first reported that Green would be joining the show as a regular.
