Boyd Martin, from Cochranville, Pa., made his Olympic debut at the London 2012 Games. He currently competes with Blackfoot Mystery, an off-the-track Thoroughbred. In 2014 he placed 7th individually and 10th in the team for the Equestrian World Championships. He also won gold for his team at the 2015 Pan American Games. Martin is the son of Olympian parents, his father Ross Martin competed at the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in cross-country skiing for Australia and met his wife, Toy, as she competed in speed-skating for Team USA.
