Here’s a look at what is coming up in San Diego sports for the week of July fourth through the tenth.
PADRES: The Friars are on the road this week as Petco Park prepares for the 2016 MLB All-Star Game. Monday through Wednesday they’re in Arizona to face the Diamondbacks before heading to Los Angeles Thursday through Sunday to play the Dodgers.
ALL-STAR GAME: The game isn’t until next week but the festivities start Friday with FanFest. Sunday is the Futures Game and Legends & Celebrity Softball game at 4 p.m. For more schedules and information on events, go to Padres.com.
ALBION PROS: After finishing their inaugural season a top the table, the Albion Pros are headed to the National Premiere Soccer League playoffs. Saturday they host SoCal SC 7 p.m. at Mission Bay High School.
NORTH COUNTY BATTALION: The Battalion are also in the playoffs in their first season. Saturday they host Deportivo Riverside Coras 7 p.m. at Del Norte High School.
