One person was injured in a hit-and-run in front of San Ysidro High School in south San Diego Tuesday morning, officials confirmed.
According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD), a pedestrian was struck by a driver in the 5300 block of Airway Road near the school around 9:10 a.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with unspecified but non-life threatening injuries.
Officials said the driver fled the scene. The incident is under investigation. No further details were immediately released.
