A San Diego couple wanted to make Christmas trees great again.
So they took a political spin on the traditional Yuletide decorations this year to pay homage to the president-elect.
From top to bottom, the couple’s tree is adorned with Donald Trump stickers and ornaments covered in Trumpisms. They include lines such as “Make America Great Again,” “Crooked Hillary,” “Who’s going to pay for the wall,” “Bomb the hell out of them” and “Yuge.”
In fact, Ginny said the tree has been a “yuge” hit as they host Christmas parties.
“We wanted to celebrate the new beginning of this country,” she said. “I think he really is going to make America great again, and it’s our way of emphasizing it.”
Ginny and John, who asked that their last names not be used out of fear of retribution, admitted that not all their friends and family members are Trump supporters.
“That didn’t stop us,” Ginny said.

The couple chooses a theme for their Christmas tree every year. This year, the couple said, they wanted to make a splash.
"Not only did we choose red, but we wanted it to be significant," she said. "He's what America needs now."
In the couple’s living room, a life-size cardboard cutout of Trump stands next to tree. Even presents beneath the tree are wrapped in matching Trump wrapping paper.
