A man found injured on the rocks below Sunset Cliffs was rushed to the hospital Thursday.
San Diego Fire-Rescue crews were called at 6:14 a.m. to help someone stranded on the cliffs in Point Loma.
A woman who was collecting shells saw the man on a rock bleeding and called 911.
She said the man was breathing and moved a little when sirens were heard arriving.
A helicopter arrived just before 7 a.m. and helped transport the man to a nearby hospital.
His condition is not known.
The location is listed along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard at Hill Street, just north of the Sunset Cliffs Cave.
