A 50-year-old driver a was killed when he lost control of his 1981 Chevrolet El Camino on a Ramona road's curve.
Anthony Dean Pratt was driving his pickup truck eastbound on Dye Road when he struck a large boulder and rolled over, CHP said. The truck landed in the yard of a home.
Pratt suffered blunt force trauma in the crash. Medics arrived and he was pronounced at the scene, CHP said.
It’s not clear how fast Pratt was driving or if he was wearing a seatbelt. CHP said they are investigating whether drugs or alcohol were believed to be factors in the crash.
