President Obama Golfs in San Diego

The president managed to fit another round of golf into his schedule before heading back to work.

President Barack Obama squeezed in another round of golf Monday before boarding Air Force One and leaving San Diego.

The president arrived at The Crosby in Rancho Santa Fe just before 8 a.m. He golfed for several hours before he drove to MCAS Miramar.

At the Air Force base, he took some time to shake hands and greet families and members of the armed services before walking down the runway and boarding Air Force One. The plane took off Monday afternoon.

On Sunday, President Obama shot a round of golf at Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

The president stayed at the Rancho Valencia Resort in Rancho Santa Fe Saturday and Sunday evening on his trip to California.

He visited the Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Diego over the long holiday weekend to attend four fundraisers.

Locals may catch a glimpse of Air Force One as it departs MCAS Miramar headed for Washington, D.C. Monday afternoon.

The last time President Obama visited San Diego was May 2014 when he attended a fundraiser in the home of Qualcomm co-founder Irwin Jacobs.
