The suspected gunman in Mondayโ€™s mass shooting at Oikos University in Oakland, Calif., has personal ties to San Diego.

Upon searching records on 43-year-old shooting suspect One Goh -- who opened fire at the small Christian university Monday morning, leaving seven people dead โ€“ NBCSanDiego has confirmed that his parents once lived in Chula Vista.

According to records, Gohโ€™s parents lived in two different apartments in Chula Vista between 1998 and 2000, though exact details on the street locations of those homes remain unknown.

As it turns out, Gohโ€™s family has moved all over the country over the past 25 years, and itโ€™s unclear exactly why they wound up moving to Chula Vista.

Itโ€™s also unknown if Goh lived with his parents in Chula Vista during that time.
