A man was arrested Wednesday at Westfield Plaza Bonita Mall, accused of taking lewd pictures of unsuspecting men in the public bathroom, National City police confirmed.
Carlos Corral, 45, who is in custody, is accused of using his cell phone to take photos underneath the bathroom stall, Sgt. Dennis Leach said.
Mall security called National City Police at 8:15 p.m. after shoppers complained.
He added that investigators will work to determine if this is an isolated incident.
The mall is located near Interstate 805 and State Route 54 in the South Bay area of San Diego.
The case will be submitted to the District Attorney's office.
