Morrissey plays two sold-out shows in San Diego this weekend

Friday, the Best of San Diego Party is at Liberty Station; Night II of the sold-out Morrissey shows takes over the Observatory North Park; Pepper play at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club as part of the Del Mar Summer Concert Series; Vieux Farka Toure and Steph Johnson are at the Casbah; Big Mountain, the Devastators and DJ Carlos Culture hit the Belly Up; and Tropical Popsicle, Lowlands, Vowws, Angels Dust and DJs Craig Oliver and Richie Lauridsen are at Soda Bar. Dance options include F---ing In the Bushes at the Whistle Stop; Mike Delgado at El Dorado; Yolanda Be Cool and Colour Vision at Bang Bang; Lookas as Bassmnt; and Tritonal and Cash Cash at Omnia.

Start off your Saturday with the Mira Mesa Festival of Beers -- featuring the Routine -- or Harborfest at Bayside Park. Later that night, the Loons, the Rosalyns, the Bassics and Gloomsday are at the Casbah; Le Chateau and Flaggs take over Park & Rec; P.O.D., Hoobastank and Media Lab are at House of Blues; and Whiskey Shivers, Lexington Field and Ypsitucky play at Soda Bar. Get your dance on as I host Club Sabbat at Numb3rs with DJs Dark Angel and Severin. Other options include Booty Bassment at the Whistle Stop; the Final Elev8 at Winstons; Jason Ross at Bassmnt; Oliver Dollar at Bang Bang; and Sleepwalking at Til-Two.

Sunday, Savages take over the Casbah; Vaud & the Villains hit the Belly Up; Grampadrew, Matthew Strachota and Gregory Michael Thielman are at Sycamore Den; and the Reverberations, Schizophonics, Kids In Heat and Los Seafinks play at the Tower Bar.
