Find Handmade Xmas Gifts at Del Mar's Harvest Festival

The Del Mar Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show, which runs Friday through Sunday, is a good way to get a jump on some of that Christmas shopping.

The festival will feature an array of crafts, art, holiday gifts and jewelry handmade made by hundreds of local artists.

The little ones can make their own art projects in the Kidzone and the San Diego Woodturners, famous for their wood creations, will be making holiday spinning tops in front of viewers’ eyes. The tops will be sold to raise money for Toys for Tots.

Live music will include John Park the Funny Waiter and the Hyjinx Band as well as strolling musicians such as WC Willy as Friendly Frankie, Fables of the West and Big Mama Sue & Fast Eddie.

Tickets are under $10 and available on their website. The festival continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in the Bing Crosby and O’Brien Halls.
