Kurtenbach property being cleared, site of deadly fire that killed employee

More than four months after an act of arson  caused a fatal explosion at a home in Ramona, crews have started clearing the charred wreckage, according to our media partner, the North County Times

James Kurtenbach is suspected of orchestrating an arson fire at his home on Halloween morning that killed 24-year old  Joseph Nesheiwat, an employee of Kurtenbach's at Stars Gas Station in Ramona.

Kurtenbach was arrested in December. He pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, arson and insurance fraud.

Neighbors in the gated upscale golf community said today they 're relieved to see the tons of twisted metal and shattered dry wall finally being hauled away from the Kurtenbach's property, at 16421 N. Woodson Drive.
