Chargers to Host 2016 FanFest

FanFest will be the Chargers' first appearance at Qualcomm Stadium this year.

Chargers FanFest is back, making the long wait until the start of football season a little easier to bear.

The San Diego Chargers’ annual fan fest is set for Saturday, August 6, at Qualcomm Stadium, where fans will get an up-close look at a full-pad practice as well as a chance at autographs from Chargers legends.

The parking lot opens at 9 a.m. and the stadium gates will open thirty minutes later. Fans will be met by some of their favorite former Chargers, including Luis Castillo, Stephen Cooper, Raylee Johnson, Darren Carrington, Billy Ray Smith and Ed White, who will sign autographs on the plaza concourse (Gates A, D, and G).

The Bolts will take the field at Qualcomm for the first time in 2016 at 10:15 a.m. for the start of practice. The Charger Girls will also make their season debut.

Brand new merchandise items will be available for purchase at the Chargers Team Store at Gate G, and any fan that spends over $50 will receive a complimentary 2016 Chargers Yearbook.

Single game tickets will be on sale, and fans interested in 2016 season tickets can access FanFest through the ticket office at Gate C. 

There will be several game day entertainment acts will be there getting fans into the football spirit.
