A toddler was rushed to the hospital after falling from the bleachers at El Capitan High School in Lakeside.
Witnesses say the 2-year-old child tumbled off the bleachers' top level Saturday around 3:57 p.m. during a sports event at El Capitan Stadium, located at 10410 Ashwood Street.
The fall was at least 16 feet, according to Heartland Fire officials.
Parents stepped in to help the child until paramedics arrived. They took the toddler to the hospital with unknown injuries.
