Time is Running Out Tax Procrastinators

Are you one of the hundreds of thousands of people waiting until the last minute to file your taxes?

Monday marks the deadline to get your taxes in.

You had three extra days this year. Washington D.C. celebrated Emancipation Day on Friday, April 15, so tax day was moved forward one business day, landing it on Monday, April 18.

You have until midnight to file your 2010 federal and state tax return.

This may come as a surprise -- it's also deadline day for claiming your 2007 federal tax refund.  The IRS says it owes more than $1 billion to some one million taxpayers, but to get the money, you must file your 2007 refund by midnight Monday.
