A Christmas shopper was attacked and robbed at a Toys R Us in La Mesa Thursday night, according to a published report.
The woman was loading her bags into her car when she heard footsteps, La Mesa police told the San Diego Union-Tribune. The man tackled her and she fell over. The assailant grabbed her purse and took off, police said. He was caught after a short chase.
The woman was treated for cuts and bruises to her face, the paper reported.
