LOS ANGELES, CA - JULY 11: Chase Headley #7 of the San Diego Padres celebrates his run with Yasmani Grandal #8 to take a 4-1 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers during the fifth inning at Dodger Stadium on July 11, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Harry How/Getty Images)

The question facing the Padres right now is, will they hire a new General Manager before the July 31st trade deadline? And if so, which players stay, and which ones go?

Two guys who are sitting squarely on the trade block had a good Friday night in Los Angeles.

Chase Headley and Carlos Quentin hit back-to-back doubles in the 5th inning off Dodgers starter Dan Haren to help the Padres to a 6-3 win at Dodger Stadium.

Headley has raised his average 24 points in 10 games, making him a whole lot more attractive to possible trade partners (the Blue Jays and Yankees are rumored to be interested).

Quentin had a pair of hits and drove in three runs. If he's able to come out of his almost season-long slump, other American League teams looking for a DH will come-a-calling.

Closer Huston Street also came back from his first blown save of the season to close it out in the 9th inning. Several contenders need help at the back end of the bullpen, so Street could be one of the most sought-after players in all of baseball the next few weeks.

However, young Jesse Hahn is not going anywhere. This kid is a stud.

Hahn tossed 6.0 innings, allowing one run and striking out six batters to get his fifth win of the year. Hahn has only started seven games, but already is second on the team with five wins (Tyson Ross and Ian Kennedy are tied for the team lead with seven).

Kennedy has a chance to take the outright lead on Saturday when he takes the mound against a Dodgers pitcher that has yet to be determined. As long as it's not Clayton Kershaw, the Padres have a chance to win again.
