A power outage left more than 2,000 North County residents in the dark Saturday morning.
Officials say that a combination of factors has caused a problem with underground electrical cable and equipment, which led to the outages.
SDG&E said the power outage was reported around 10 a.m. and affects more than 2,300 customers in Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo and San Pasqual.
SDG&E officials say the power should be restored to those areas affected by Saturday afternoon.
