On what probably seemed like a normal Tuesday morning, workers at the Better Buzz Coffee Shop in Pacific Beach were making drinks to-go for customers.
The drive-thru coffee shop on Garnet is known by locals for its great Chai lattes.
But on this day, one man walked wanting more than a hot drink with a cute sticker on the lid. He held a gun and demanded money, according to police.
The robbery suspect -- with his shaved head, white shirt with brown and green stripes, dark undershirt, blue jeans and tan shoes – walked out of the shop with about $400.
San Diego police robbery is investigating.
