A lone driver died when his or her vehicle veered off the Skyline Truck Trail, authorities said Sunday.
The crashed vehicle, reported about 1 p.m. between Lyons Valley and Lawson Valley road, was not visible from the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP Officer Larry Landeros said a person was found dead inside, but his or her name was withheld.
A Cal Fire dispatcher it was unclear when the crash actually occurred.
