At least eight businesses are closed because of a fire in San Marcos, according to firefighters.
The fire started behind an outside wall in Nordahl Marketplace at 711 Center Drive, firefighters said.
Some of the businesses have suffered smoke and water damage.
It’s not yet clear what started the fire.
