A person who had been threatening to jump off the Coronado Bridge was taken into custody.
When the person stood on the bridge, law enforcement officers made the decision to close the bridge in both directions, according to California Highway Patrol.
Just after 2 p.m., officers took a person in handcuffs to a patrol car before reopening the bridge to traffic.
