Police are asking for the public to help find fugitive wanted for trying to kill his girlfriend with a hammer.
Julio Mario Pacheco, 37, is wanted on a $750,000 felony warrant for attempted murder. Pacheco allegedly assaulted his girlfriend with a hammer last August, according to a Crime Stoppers bulletin.
Pacheco is known to frequent the Logan Heights area and may be working in the construction field. He is also known to use the name Mario Pacheco Barrera.
The suspect is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
A $1,000 reward is available for information leading to Pacheco's arrest.
