Family in Bay Terraces Home ID'd

Family members have identified the family of four found drowned Tuesday at a home in San Diego.

Relatives of Georgina Pimienta were informed of her death several hours after San Diego police and emergency crews found four bodies at 162 Parkcreek Court.

Alfredo Pimienta, 44, his wife, Georgina, 38, and their daughters Priscilla, 17, and Emily, 9, lived in the home located on a cul-de-sac in the Bay Terraces area.

The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide, San Diego police said.

One family member arrived at the home before 7 a.m. When he arrived, he saw two bodies in the family's backyard pool and called police, said San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbert.

Emergency crews reported finding a woman inside the home in a bathtub and a man, woman and a girl in the pool, said San Diego Fire-Rescue spokesperson Maurice Luque. All four people appeared to have drowned Luque said.

One of Priscilla Pimienta's classmates at High Tech High School learned of the deaths while watching the news Tuesday morning. When Alex Jasmund arrived at the scene, the high school senior was visibly upset.

“They don’t deserve this,” said Jasmund. “No one does.”

He said he was at the home Saturday night for a pre-prom party.

Detectives said they are not actively looking for a suspect in the case.
