Researchers at San Diego State University and the Moores Cancer Center have been awarded a $15 million federal grant, according to a published report.
The grant will fund a study of the connection between some ethnic groups and higher rates of cancer and will also be sued to train minority cancer researchers, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
The National Cancer Institute issued the grant.
