Sounds Like San Diego: March 3

Tuesday squeezes in great music picks around town, including the Tighten Ups at the Merrow

Tighten Ups
John Hancock

It has been cold for our little corner of the continent, and while it's easy to make fun that it isn't super cold compared to the rest of the country, I don't know how many of my friends have any winter clothing beyond a few hoodies and scarves. That being said, you should still brave the weather because touring and local bands are still hustling and showing up to play. On Tuesday night, you can catch former Last December frontman and singer/songwriter Pete RG for an inspired night of music at Soda Bar. Or consider heading to Casbah for an all-local lineup with Second Cousins taking the headlining slot. Jason Bonham, son of late Led Zep drummer John Bonham, brings his Led Zeppelin Experience for the first of two nights to the Belly Up. The super special show of Tuesday goes to Laura Jane and her famous Fish Party. This year they're celebrating at the Merrow with her band the Tighten Ups, and everyone's invited.
