Sounds Like San Diego: February 21

Superchunk, Alex Cameron, Icon for Hire, Motionless in White, and more play San Diego Wednesday

You probably don't know this, but are you aware that our reputation as a city is being a late-buying market? That when agents book their bands in San Diego, often it's reluctantly because we're so flaky that we wait until the last minute to get tickets for everything. That's why it's super impressive that Superchunk and Alex Cameron are both sold out tonight. Both are going to be great for those smart planners who got their tickets in advance. If you're looking for something else to do tonight, Illinois alt-rockers Icon for Hire play House of Blues Voodoo Room, Belly Up hosts a launch for Marea Coffee, and the Merrow welcomes dark-rock band the Holy Knives from San Antonio.
