Sex Predator Suspect Sought By Police

A manhunt is under way for a man who police think committed a series of home invasion sexual assaults throughout Southern California.

Authorities said  32-year-old man known as Tommy Nguyen and Trieu Nguyen was one of three people involved in a home invasion robbery and armed sexual assault on Oct. 18 in Rolando. A man and woman were arrested at the Hughes Street scene by police, but the wanted man is still on the loose.

The five victims include a married couple and three people who rented rooms from them.
Police say the wife had been raped by the suspects.

Detectives suspect Nguyen's involvement in other, similar crimes in Riverside and Orange counties.

The suspect is about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and is believed to be Vietnamese. Investigators said he is works in the construction industry as a framer and speaks English, Spanish and Vietnamese. Police said he should be considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anybody with information about Nguyen's whereabouts is being urged to call call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
