The San Diego State cheerleading squad finished first at the 2009 UCA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships on Sunday at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida according to the university.
Squads were judged on crowd leading ability, practicality of skills and overall cheer impression.
The UCA College Cheerleading Team Championship will be nationally televised on Feb. 22 on ESPN 2 beginning at 1 p.m. EST.
