Sounds Like San Diego: May 13

El Vez shares songs and stories, allowing audience members to get an inside look at the man

It was just a few weeks ago that El Vez played a wild and energetic Friday night with his Soul Revue, but tonight is something extra special that he does called the Unhappy Hour. For one, it's far more low profile and intimate, with El Vez sharing songs and stories, allowing audience members to get an inside look at the man and his vibrant history here and around the world. At Soda Bar, Ohio band If Only probably don't identify as emo, but if it quacks like a duck, you know what I mean? Our pals Julia Sage & the Bad Hombres return for a Monday night at Bar Pink, and Canadian death metal act Archspire headline Brick by Brick. Many of us haven't quite recovered from the weekend, but there's certainly opportunity if you find yourself hungry for music tonight.
