This new day all the way into the night business is a welcome new addition to inland going out options. You can carry on your shenanigans till late: They're open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and till the cows come home on Fridays & Saturdays. Yelpers already love the menu and bar options, and the owners put their hearts and souls into the indoor/outdoor construction.
Dive Dayclub
777 Harrah’s Rincon Way, Harrah’s Valley Center
Adult Swim Saturdays will be the place to be this summer at the newly redesigned and impressive Dive Dayclub at Harrah's Resort. Launching July 13, you can party every Saturday this summer from 12-7 p.m. Famous DJ’s, a lazy river, swim up bar, cabanas and all only an hour away from downtown. Watch out Vegas! Hotel guests get two free passes per stay, but the public is more than welcome and it’s just $20 cover.
Priority Public House
576 N Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas
Any business on the Coast Highway knows you need plenty of tap handles to gain North County fans: This new local hangout is no exception. It used to be the old Calypso, but the remodel has Yelpers only focused on the future. The menu is filled with tasting boards, pub style plates, gluten free options and those Priority Fries with Parmesan, garlic and Gorgonzola? Amazing!
Flat Rock Eats & Drinks
102 Aberdeen Dr., Cardiff-by-the-Sea
No Kooks here: The Ahi Poke is super fresh and the owners are friendly and hyper focused on the community. The daily specials board has amazing concoctions created by the experienced head Chef. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available and the Duck Flautas already have rave reviews. The real estate is prime on the corner and all the bread is sourced from the well-known VG’s Donuts next door.
Rita’s
3263 Camino De Los Coches, Carlsbad
East Coasters rejoice! Your summer custard has arrived. This popular chain has landed in North County and they’re mixing up the famous Italian ices with that buttery custard at a rapid rate. They have 40 rotating ice flavors and multiple custard options including a decadent coffee flavor and candy mix-ins. Custard cookie sandwiches are made freshly on site, they literally bake the cookies and assemble them in house: The perfect summer snack!
