Alex Trebeck will be serving up questions to native San Diegan Jennifer Montgomery on Monday.
The development director for Jazz 88.3 began the process in January by taking an online test.
“They don't tell you the results, they just say thanks for taking the test,” Montgomery said, “Then in July, I received an e-mail congratulating me and telling me I had made it to the next round of auditions.”
Nine days before her wedding, Montgomery tried out with a group of about 20 people, interviewed, took another test, and played a test version of the game. About a month later she got a call from the contestant coordinators inviting her to be on the show.
Montgomery is a native San Diegan, according to the Jazz 88.3 radio station’s Web site. She will make her debut on NBC 7/39 at 7:30 on Monday, December 14.
