Kesha headlines Harrah's Resort SoCal on Thursday, June 27.

This musical summer has been off to a great start and it continues tonight. If you're looking for a pop goddess, head to "Funner, California" where Kesha plays the Events Center at Harrah's Resort SoCal. It's not my typical recommendation, but I definitely respect Kesha for taking a lead role in #metoo and I still hope she gets justice with Dr. Luke. Meanwhile, Rooney is back for the 20th anniversary of "Break the Wall" and they sold out the Casbah last time around so you should get your tickets for Soda Bar in advance if you still can. As for me, I'm so excited to see Okkervil River, fronted by the amazingly talented Will Sheff, returning to the Casbah for the first time in a handful of years. Around town, Tennessee Sons are at Bar Pink, Leikeli47 headlines the Irenic, and Warish bring sludge to the Belly Up.
