Sounds Like San Diego: October 29

Sara Bareilles headlines SDSU's Open Air Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

We might be actually starting to experience fall in San Diego, when the air gets a little crisper and the nights a little cooler, but that doesn't slow down the touring acts from coming to San Diego, and as yet I haven't heard of any tours being disrupted by the fires throughout the state. So let's support while we can, eh? Tonight at the Casbah, catch the return of Justin Townes Earle or the phenomenal Sara Bareilles at SDSU's Open Air Theatre where you can experience her range from singer-songwriter to pop star to Broadway performer. I personally wish I could head to SOMA for Aussie indie-rockers Last Dinosaurs, but I'm fighting a fall cold, so you should definitely go for me. Around town, funnyman Brent Weinbach appears at Soda Bar, folk singer and storyteller Todd Snider plays a seated show at the Belly Up and Tim Pyles is back at the Merrow with a local lineup featuring Jara, Lefties, and our pals Boychick.
