Tonight's House of Blues show has me thinking a lot about the old days of radio in San Diego, those famous voices who guided us through "new wave," "college radio," "alternative," and "indie" music. Tonight is heaven for anyone who loves Resurrection Sunday on 91x or Legends of Alternative on ALT949. The Alarm, Modern English and Gene Loves Jezebel are a perfect trifecta for that edgy nostalgia and you can catch all three tonight at the House of Blues. Meanwhile, our favorite motorcycle helmet-wearing one-man-band Bob Log III is back at the Casbah to amuse the masses, Aussie producer Golden Vessel rolls through Soda Bar, and Chicano dream-pop artist Cuco plays a sold-out show at SOMA.
