Wednesday is a rough night if you're a lover of indie music because there are way too many good shows, and chances are if you're a fan of one, you're probably a fan of the others who will most likely be performing at exactly the same time. Potty Mouth stops by Soda Bar, while Tobias Jesso Jr. brings his pretty tunes to the Belly Up. Rusted Root sounds perfect at the Music Box, and Matt Pond PA returns to the Casbah. Of course, the big show of the night is the sold-out Shakey Graves show at the Observatory. If you were ahead of the game and snagged a ticket before they sold out, be sure to get to the show early enough to catch Tennis, who in the past year sold out both the Casbah and the Irenic on their own. If none of that tickles your fancy, the Membranes are at the Hideout, while Luscious Noise returns to Whistle Stop, and all of your favorite local musicians collaborate for Misfits Undercover at the Office.
