Sounds Like San Diego: March 4

Swervedriver veers into Casbah while Decker.'s desert hits Soda Bar on Wednesday night

Shoegaze pioneers Swervedriver hadn't released a new record in 17 years. Until now. The band is back together and touring, and though frontman Adam Franklin has passed through the Casbah over the years, this is certain to be an incredible reunion. At press time, there were still some tickets left to see this Oxford band, but don't wait until tonight, because surely this show will sell out. Around town, the Irenic hosts an all-ages banger with Broods, which sold out some time ago, so if you're itching for live music, catch the New Orleans sounds of Galactic at Belly Up, or drop by Soda Bar for the intense desert sound of Decker.
