It may get hard to focus on just one event for Friday. If you can get up to Carlsbad, the Music Festival Village Walk you can catch a sophisticated night of jazz, folk and classical. Over at the Open Air Theatre, catch the singer/actress Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward as music's buzzworthy duo She & Him. Soda Bar hosts Deadly Birds and Chronic Meter at the Casbah. The Styletones will have the room shaking over at North Park's Bar Pink. Lots of great stuff so get out and get it while the getting's good.
