Yacht Rock is all the rage these days, and when originals roll through the county, you might want to check them out. Tonight, Christopher Cross plays at Sycuan Casino and Michael McDonald plays Thornton Winery in Temecula, and both will have you nostalgic for those easy, breezy times of yesteryear. In other events around town, the music community will gather at the Casbah to celebrate the life of Fernie Bernardino, who was well known for his snazzy duds, his swing-dancing skills and his fiery personality, while others will gather at Bar Pink, who, 11 years ago, became a central character in the redevelopment of the North Park that we know and love today.
