Sounds Like San Diego: January 2

I hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve, followed up with an enjoyable New Year's Day and now feels refreshed enough to dive back into San Diego's thriving music scene. Some of the local haunts are still closed to take a small break, but other spots are ready for your patronage and they certainly deserve it. Soda Bar and the Griffin both have ideal lineups on Wednesday for you to get your midweek music fix. If you haven't had the chance to catch the Short Eyes in awhile, this is your chance as they'll certainly rock it out. Then again, maybe you just need to dance it out with Lady Dottie over at Gallagher's or check out the Blooming Rye from North County whose drenched-in-reverb sounds will fit in nicely at the Soda Bar.
