And we start to get into the big slow-down of the season. That's not to say you can't find great events, it just means there are fewer from which to pick. Tonight, catch Van Hof at the Casbah. Formerly known as VanLadyLove, the Rocky mountain band plays alt-indie and should offer up a solid night of rock. At Soda Bar, Hardly Human play groovy hip-hop with a full band (including horns) and sounds like a group anyone fro SoCal should love. Meanwhile, locals from Minor Gems and Oak Palace join to ham it up with a tribute to Arctic Monkeys at Blonde, and Israel Maldonado grooves the crowd at De Oro Mine Co.
