Opening the sold-out Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros show tomorrow night at the Belly Up Tavern, Los Angeles' He's My Brother, She's My Sister makes their first appearance in San Diego. Western swing-meets-folk and blues, the band is a brother/sister combo with guitarist Rob Kolar and Rachel Kolar splitting vocal duties. Featuring a tap-dancer, percussionist and cellist in the eclectic mix, the band combines colorful costumes and loose jams to bring the crowd to its dancing feet.
"He’s My Brother She’s My Sister is like a time warp to the golden present, wrapping nostalgia around the here and now with throwback flair and good taste," according to "LA Record."
