Roll With It, Baby

Now that the holidays are officially behind us, we can move full speed ahead. Don’t let those silly superstitions get the better of you during this Friday the 13th. But first, start off your Thursday night by checking out May Star’s Roller Disco Party at Skateworld from 8-10 p.m. Get more details here. Then, head over to Voyeur as the Bromance Tour -- featuring Brodinski, Gesaffelstein, plus Deth Hertz -- rolls into San Diego. Get more info via this link.

Friday, join me at the Whistle Stop for Pussy Galore shenanigans, with live performances from the Slpwlkrs and East of Sweden). Plus, Terryn S and I will be spinning indie, electro, ‘80s and more throughout the night. The best part: It’s free. Get more info via this link. You can also check out a recent SoundDiego interview with East of Sweden. At 4th & B on Friday, it’s a Chinese New Year Cirque Rave with DJs Mancat and Ayla Simone spinning electronic, dubstep, house and trance. There will also be plenty of live performances to tantalize your senses, including hoops, stilts, aerialists, swords, and I hear that custom desserts will be served atop female models as part of a live human buffet. And then there’s the panda-suited dwarf, but that’s a whole different story. Get details here.

Saturday, I’ll be DJing at Club Sabbat, San Diego’s classiest gothic, industrial and fetish night, at the Flame in Hillcrest. Joining me in the front room is Diskdroid, and Bloodline will keep it old school in the back room. More info via this link. Other events you may want to check out include Nadastrom and Colour Vision at the Loft at UCSD, and Dragon Lounge’s 14-year anniversary at the Kava Lounge.

On Sunday, the Hard Rock brings you Wintervention, featuring Aussie electronic sisters Mim and Liv Nervo. The fun will take place in the Legends Ballroom from 2-7 p.m. Go here for more info.

Other weekend events are listed on my blog. Remember, careful with that mirror, and no umbrellas on the dance floor!
