Adolfo Segura is the Vice President of News at Telemundo 20, where he leads newsroom operations while partnering closely with NBC 7 on duopoly coverage. In this role, he oversees all multi-platform news efforts—driving performance, strengthening workflows, and ensuring alignment across broadcast, digital, and streaming.

He is deeply focused on storytelling that reflects the region’s bilingual and binational identity, elevating coverage that connects audiences on both sides of the border. Adolfo also leads the strategy and execution of large-scale, high-impact coverage, including elections and global events like the FIFA World Cup 2026.

An experienced, Emmy Award-winning news leader, Adolfo previously served as Vice President of News for KCSO and KNSO, where he spent four years expanding and modernizing operations in Sacramento and Fresno. During his tenure, he grew the newsroom teams, launched new studios and graphics, and introduced more integrated workflows to deliver stronger, more cohesive local coverage.

Before that, he spent six years as VP of News at Telemundo 60 (KVDA) in San Antonio, where he led several key initiatives, including the launch of the market’s first border news bureau—an innovative move that strengthened regional reporting and community connection.

Throughout his career, Adolfo has held multiple newsroom leadership roles across Univision and Telemundo, consistently building collaborative teams and forward-looking strategies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nevada.
