San Diego and Media Arts Center have welcomed the 17th annual, internationally recognized San Diego Latino Film Festival. The Festival that supports the Media Arts Center’s year-round programs, began on March 11 and will run until the 21st. Catch one of the 120 collections of shorts, feature films, and documentaries from Spain, Mexico, Latin America and the U.S. at the Hazard Center Ultrastar Mission Valley Cinemas.
Expect much more than 150 Latin American award-winning films, industry professionals and multiple guest actors this year. The SDLFF will showcase a variety of new events including Venezuelan Cinema, Free Student Outreach Screenings, Reel Talk Workshops that give you an in-depth behind the scenes experience, parties, and live music.
See the flicks for $9.50 or if you’re a dedicated Latin Film fan, the $90 film pass that gets you into as many as 11 films and treats you like one of the stars with no waiting and VIP seating could be the ultimate deal.
Want a sneak peak? Visit the Media Arts Center web site to catch a glimpse of the films and decide which ones you can’t miss.
