Rio Fun: Brazilian Promotions brings Rio fun to North County with a pre-Carnaval Party at Belly Up in Solana Beach. Samba lessons at 8pm, and DJ. Tribute to Steve Spencer. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased online.
Symphony Sounds: The San Diego Symphony hosts “Prokofiev’s 5th Symphony: A Jacob’s Masterworks Concert” at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online.
Miss San Diego: It's that time of year again where young women from all over San Diego will compete for the titles of Miss San Diego & Miss San Diego's Outstanding Teen 2010, the official preliminaries to the Miss California and Miss America Pageants at The Lyceum Theater at 2pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
